Serving Alcohol CHALLENGE 25

Serving Alcohol - Challenge 25

This year we will be selling alcohol in the Arena Merch Cafe & possibly Campsite cafe with extra volunteers. We will be draught beer (lager & IPA) and cider.

In order to do this we will all have to adhere to 'Challenge 25' conditions (see poster below).

Basically, Challenge 25 is a requirement for anyone who is over 18 but looks under 25 to produce acceptable ID (a card bearing the PASS hologram, a photographic driving license or a passport - see list below) if they wish to buy alcohol.

All members of our Cafe Teams must adhere to this policy and ask for ID where applicable.

There will be posters (see below), in our Cafes, advising customers of this policy.

If you are unsure then please refer to your Cafe Manager.

Acceptable proof of age documents, as

are specified in Challenge 25, are:

Passport
A European Union photocard driving licence
Ministry of Defence Form 90 (Defence Identity Card)
Photographic identity card bearing the national Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) hologram
National identity card issued by a European Union member state (other than the United Kingdom), Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland
Biometric Immigration Document
