Presentation of Food - Cakes

Storing

Cakes must be stored in fridge overnight

Displaying

​Take sufficient cakes and pastries out of fridge to make a suitable display. Make sure that older stock is placed above the new stock for serving.

Each cake type should be displayed on it's own base (6 or more cakes on each). Gluten Free and Vegan cakes should be separately covered with a clear lid on top where able

All cakes should be clearly labeled with name and price (replace labels if they are looking worn)

Serving

To help ensure that vegan and gluten free cakes are each kept fully separate from other cakes we have separate cake slices and tongs - these should be kept separate from each other, on their own plate. Please wash each regularly, throughout the day, in their own soapy water
