It is important that you are aware of and action the following...
First aid - we are not to administer first aid but should raise a call to the Festival First Aid team. We will have a simplefirst aid kit which team may use if they require. But we recommend they get festival first aid suppor tfor any injuries.
Allocate times for volunteers to have Dinner if this overlaps with their shift
Ensure everyone has a break.
Maintain stock levels - keep each area stocked up ready for speedy service.
Complete Daily Checks list
Fire/Emergencies - in the event of fire you need to ensure that all people are evacuated from the venue
Oversee use of radios
Ensure entrance & exits are free from obstruction at all times
Ensure fire exits are free from obstruction at all times
Ensure you manage the flow of people through the cafe to avoid overcrowding
Daily check of electrical points - any problems to be reported back to Event Organiser (any faulty equipment to be taken out of use)
Raise all Issues with CLO Managers team as the first point of your support - Nick/Linda/Tom
