Only trained First Aiders who have submitted their paperwork are authorised by Big Church Festival to undertake First Aid intervention at the event.
Any incidents which require First Aid or medical intervention must be notified to Control or your Cafe Manager immediately so that help can be sent and details can be recorded. This is important as serious incidents may need quick intervention and will need investigating.
You should not dial 999 under any circumstances.
BCF have an emergency medical plan in place and a suitably qualified Team on site. A sick or injured person will receive the necessary care faster if you notify Control and we won’t divert ambulances away from other local incidents.
If you are approached by a guest who needs First Aid assistance please direct them towards the First Aid / Medical Tent (if they are able to make their way there) or call through to Control using the nearest radio. The First Aid point is clearly marked on the map, which you will receive when you arrive on site.
