As part of your BCF Cafes Volunteer role you'll be:
Creating a welcoming environment where we ensure that serving a coffee is more than just a transaction
Taking orders on the till
Serving cake
Making teas and filter coffees, inc. setting up the brew station
Restocking snacks and supplies
Clearing and cleaning tables and work surfaces - helping to ensure the cafe environment is always presentable and clean
Queue management
Helping to clean and maintain the coffee equipment
General cleaning and recycling
Assisting as directed by Cafe Manager
Supporting the opening and closing checks
Working to the required health and hygiene standards
An active member of the BCF Cafes team
Contributing with suggestions for continuous improvement
Enthusiastically presenting your Coffee brand
Working shifts over the 2 to 4 days of the Festival (usual shift is app 8 hrs)
Your primary responsibility will be to serve in a BCF hospitality environment where we want to create a positive experience for all our guests.

A BCF Cafes Volunteer will:
Help to maintain and protect the morale of the BCF Cafes team
Be an ambassador for your Coffee brand and it's guiding principles
Value people and provide a warm welcome to all our guests
Be fun, enthusiastic, and energetic with a keen interest in customer service and cafe life
Have great communication skills
Demonstrate high attention to detail
Be able to work well independently and under pressure
