Breaks for Baristas and Volunteers
if you work less than 4.5 hours then there is no break entitlement
if you work 4.5 or 5 hours you are entitled to one 20 minute break
if you work more than 5 hours you are entitled to one 30 minute break
Note
Your Cafe Manager will arrange when you can take a break so that no two people are on a break at the same time
We ask that members of staff remain on site as your break is paid for and, if service requires it, you may have to jump up to help. If this is the case, you will be able to return to finish your break after the busy period has calmed.
